D. Brooke Stephenson, Esquire	Ms. Stephenson joined the firm in April of 2011. She focuses her practice on individual consumer and business bankruptcies; tax preparation and compliance; corporate and business law; estate planning; and estate and trust administration.  Prior to joining Harry Jernigan CPA Attorney, P.C., Ms. Stephenson was an attorney at Smith &Wells, P.C. where she focused her practice on family law, individual consumer bankruptcy, traffic and criminal defense, estate planning, and estate and trust administration. Ms. Stephenson is admitted to practice in the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and in all courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She received her B.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Juris Doctor degree from Regent University School of Law, where she graduated in the top 15% of her class.  She is a member of the Virginia State Bar Association, Bankruptcy Law section member, and the Chesterfield Bar Association.
