Mr. Rothlisberger first started practicing as an attorney with the firm in June 2002 in the firm's Virginia Beach Office. In addition, he works one day a week in the Newport News office. He focuses his practice on individual consumer and business bankruptcies and state and federal tax compliance matters. He has additional experience in tax audits and tax issues related to bankruptcy. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rothlisberger worked as an associate with Wright, Robinson, Ostihimer & Tatum in Richmond, Virginia and as a financial advisor for AXA Advisors, also in Richmond, Virginia.
Mr. Rothlisberger is a member of the Virginia State Bar Association and the Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Virginia, and in all courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Mr. Rothlisberger attended the University of Virginia, and in 1997 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce with a concentration in Finance and an economics degree. In 2000, he received his juris doctorate degree from the College of William and Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law.
