Harry Jernigan is an attorney and a certified public accountant. He first started representing taxpayers with the IRS and other tax authorities in 1966. His combined legal and accounting training and experience uniquely qualifies him to effectively represent people and businesses with tax, financial, and business matters. He has effectively assisted thousands of clients in resolving millions of dollars in civil tax liabilities. He also represents taxpayers in criminal tax investigations and in defense of criminal tax complaints.

Mr. Jernigan represents clients with tax audits, appeals, and collection matters with the Internal Revenue Service, Virginia Department of Taxation, and other tax authorities throughout the United States. His civil litigation practice includes the United States Tax Court, United States Bankruptcy Court, Federal District Court, Federal Court of Appeals, Virginia General District and Circuit Courts, and Virginia Supreme Court.  

Mr. Jernigan is an instrument rated private pilot and routinely flies the firm's Piper Comanche airplane to conduct personal client conferences at other locations.
